What a night we had with E yesterday! I thought she was getting a bit better, but I was wrong. We were away last weekend, and she did pretty good. But as soon
as we got back it all started again - the anger, the yelling, the crying, etc. Last evening she was so angry, dh and I didn't know what to do. At least she
was not physical. She then starts crying, because we just don't understand. I told her that I was sorry, and maybe we didn't understand, but we WERE
trying our best to help her, and get her help. Maybe we don't need to understand. She doesn't understand us either, so we're even on that.
This morning I woke her up 3 times and thought she was getting ready. Comes time to leave and she's still in bed! We haven't had to go through this in a while. She did manage to get dressed and get to school, but she looked horrid - didn't even brush her hair.
I called th pdoc this morning, and she wants to do another increase in her Trileptal, this time an evening increase. So we will see. Now this afternoon she seemed fine. Talking alot about how she can cope with her anger. She wants to make a sort of scrapbook with "happy things" in it, and look at it whenever she gets down or angry. This was a suggestion from her resource room teacher. I think its a great idea.
