Grrr, This has been one of those days that I can't wait for bedtime. Jenny started at 6:45am this morning with a meltdown because I "never" make her sphagetti for dinner and of course it's all her dad's fault. Everyone is trying to get ready for church and she's crying about sphagetti. Second meltdown happened at 7:30am because I made her sit on the right side of the car instead of the left side. She was the first one in the car and she expected everyone else to get in the car on the other side where there was a pile of snow. I made her scoot over. She had a huge fit and cried half way to church. It was seriously one thing after the other all day long. My 12year old is in the middle of a manic episode that we almost have under control but not quite so their have been some problems today as well with her. I'm soo ready for bedtime! I just hope everyone sleeps. Kristen, I thought geodon was one of the ap's that was supposed to help with depression. It might not have official approval yet but I think it geodon is more like an antidepressant and antipsychotic rolled together so is now often being used to treat bipolar depression at least according to crazymeds. That is a good idea to have her thyroid checked. The pdoc gave me orders for that back in early December. I just haven't had it done yet. She had her lithium level checked right after Christmas when we took her to the ER and it was really low only .55 on 900mg about 10 hours after her last dose of lithium. We raised her lithium to 1200mg after that but haven't rechecked her levels. I doubt her thyroid is that off considering her low lithium levels.
