Here is a update that has been going on lately. I had to go the hosptial for the second time this year for my sucidal thoughts and I thought my brain was crazy when I told my psy doctor on Oct 7th I went into 5th floor of his program for a week to get my medication changed and moved around some. I am on invega 3mg and Lexapro and my thryoid medication and anti-side effect medication for invega side effects.that I was having with my neck was spamizng so they gave me a shot that day when I started my new medication that Thursday. I was discharged on Sunday Oct 12th since i was having surgery for the left eye for retina laser surgery in a doctor office. I still have to go back on 11/10 for finish up on that. Last week I had a nose straighten out for better breathing and maybe my voice will improved too.

I am taking some time off from college til I am all better and able to live without help from my mom. I still with Mike as best friend ever He has been so helpful to me and my mother for couple weeks. He is a charm to me I hope I dont lose him anytime soon lol.

The weather in Lake Lure, NC has been nice and cold on some nights and upper 60's today and not as hot anymore.

I am feeling little bit better each day and take one day at time for me. Right now I am glad that I still here on this earth. I am not having more bad thoughts now since Invega is working with voices and seeing things like aliens. Sorry if I dont sound right with my thoughts its the pain medication that i am taking.

Oh Lara, thx so much for checking in. I had no idea all this was going on in your life. If I lived closer, I'd be bringing a casserole

all the time, not just after surgery.

You sure have had a lot of trouble with your meds over the last year. Hope this combo works better for you. Are you back home with your mom again?

HI Everyone!!

I am doing much better since the last post I wrote to you guys. No I am not living with my mom if I did I wouldnt wake up so early to post.

MIke and I are still item as best friends for now. Like last night he treated me with out to dinner and he paid his and mine together. Poor guy hasnt been feeling too good and he had a sinus infection so I had left overs of my pain med with me. He gave me a big hug before he left to go home to sleep. Later on today we are going to yard work for my aunts house.

My feelings are starting to get serious with him and he sees that i do care about him very much.

How are you doing and family doing? I am doing okay in a way that I thinking functionally. I went to my doctor yesterday for some ADD medication since I have been having trouble staying focusing on a project or sitting still for long time. I can sit in front of the computer with no problem for hours.

I think the Invega I am on has properties in for ADD as well thats what I have heard from others that I talk to but my doctor didnt want to add ADD medication to my cocktail mess.

I see that your son is on Invega 3mg same dose as me and how is handling it?

He handles it OK. He is younger and is only just at the beginning of puberty. I find he is a little spacey and forgetful. He was much worse on 6mg. He couldn't play soccer. He couldn't make himself run. It was horribly sad to watch. That is why we lowered the dose and added Topomax.

It could be that the focus problems are cognitive dulling from the meds. Not much you can do though.
