At first the pdoc thought Alex was great. He was smiling and cheerful. By the end, he was pretty certain he didn't want to spend any longer with him.
Alex tried to rub a balloon on the pdoc's head. It is hard to take him anywhere without getting embarrased. He also told the pdoc that I have an active
imagination and what I was saying wasn't true. I am worried he has some mild psychosis going on there.
Anyway, pdoc decided to keep Topamax at 25 and 50, lower Effexor to 37.5 and Invega to 3 to help with weight, sedation and cognitive dulling. I am to call SW within 3 weeks if there is a problem since he is going away. I can call SW to get an emergency appt with another pdoc while he is away for 6 weeks.
Matthew is still depressed. He decided his dose was too low and put him on Wellbutrin 150 XL. We will give that a week or 2 and see. So far no side effects so I think we are OK with this.
Wish us luck! Alex and I are back to see the SW.
