The only leverage you have with an adult child, in my opinion, is if they are living with you, that you can make getting treatment and complying with treatment (meds) a condition of staying in your home.

The same would go for helping them out financially. Otherwise, I'm afraid you just have to grin and bear it and try not to rescue them so much that they aren't motivated to try to get better.
