I also have a small security box for important papers and have used it for meds at times. It was inexpensive and has a key. However, my dd has been known to hunt for keys and I have been known to end up locked out of my own room as a result! So locking things up didn't always work well for me.
Lynne, I hope you are still taking things easy and not doing too much. You are still recovering and don't you forget it! LOL I'm lousy at taking care of myself and trying to get better, so I understand overdoing. Please don't worry about keeping up with us. Just read what and when you feel like it, and you will be caught up enough. I had to learn that to avoid getting burned out and needing to take breaks from here.
Terri
dd is 22
Terri - dd is 28, takes meds for migraines and seizures only I think
