Story of my life right there, Susan. I hope you got the tdoc session rescheduled for a better time. There is absolutely NO WAY my dd would be anywhere she didn't feel like going that early. Forget it. LOL. I have had numerous mornings such as you described. I know about the necklace and how it was cast aside on the floor and now it's the most important item in the entire world.

To commiserate, let me tell you:

Dd was screeching this morning about a shirt which she could not find. I showed her where I hung it up after I washed it. But of course 2 days have passed and she forgot (or wasn't paying attention to begin with).

She started pulling clean clothes out of her closet and onto the floor looking for it. As she is complaining that I purposely hid it from her, she reaches into the closet (as I am saying, "did you check on the other side?") and touches it then smiles and says, "Oh." Grrrrr....we are lucky nowadays though, because after the mini meltdown she was able to collect herself and get ready without further issues.

She also, upon waking, starting yelling and fussing about how mean I am and asking me "what do you WANT from me?" LOL. I said, "I want you to get up." Then I "left the area" and kinda hid in my room. Except I had to make it look like I wasn't hiding. So, I was just petting Sassy and chilling out on my bed. Then I avoided her some more. Pretty soon she came in and asked for help with her hair. I'm nice so I didn't pull her hair. LOL. But I did brush it before she had a chance to complain.
