Hello there! Yes I to am up in the flood zone. Fortunately for us our house is on the best side of the road. Our neighbors did not fair so well. My DS did go check on the elderly lady across the road that he does odd jobs for in the summer to make some money and she was fine. He checked on the gentleman with Cancer down the road and all was fine there but there was extensive flooding in my area. Isn't it funny how our kids can be so awful, yet at times like this they are the most caring to those truly in need, or presumed in need by our kids?

We took off to the store about 5 hours before the rivers crested and had a heck of a time with water over the road and having to reroute ... needless to say we took a different way home. We made it though and all is well at home. Jason tried to get to a jobsite on Friday and couldn't get there so after three different routes were blocked. They made it there Sat & Sun though. LOL ... I told him they need to get out of the sprinkler business and get into irrigation. Two peas in a pod .. right?
