I debated whether or not to call the pdoc. I hate to be calling too much. I figured it was med related but I didn't want to take a chance so I finally did end up calling him this morning. He said that it was from the meds and that she was probably still very sedated from taking the extra meds so late last night plus one of the side effects is hypotension which is what Kristen said where their blood pressure falls when they stand up and they feel dizzy and faint. He said to let her sleep it off this morning but to make sure that I could rouse her. He called back at noon to check on her. I woke her up at 11:30 and she was still dizzy and tired but I was afraid she wouldn't sleep tonight. The pdoc said tonight to give her the larger dose of geodon at dinner and no seroquel. Hopefully that will stop this from happening again. She's been on seroquel in the past up to 600mg and never had any problems. So it has to be that she's just not used to the geodon. Probably the larger dose combined with the seroquel on top of it just knocked her out.
