I worry sometimes (like today) when I took him to his pdoc that I have to say how crazy he is and that he is going to feel I am criticizing him. I tell him I am not but I still worry how he feels hearing those things.
Me too Kristin. I think that my ds doesn't look at it as describing an "issue"....I'm bad-mouthing him. I've tried to explain that this is the person who can help...blah,blah.

Bluerain, I don't understand like some of the others here. My mom didn't do those things to me. Thank God your sis has you to love her and hopefully balance out some of mom's behaviors. I do know some adults whose parents do a similar thing where they can't do anything right. What a shame! The parent is surely missing out on a valuable relationship. Prayers with you and sis.
