I agree completely with Kathy and Heather, and was going to say the same thing, but Kathy said it first! She should NOT be discharged if there has been no improvement (actually, it seems as if she's gotten worse!). The reason for her hospitalization was to assess and regulate her medication, was is not? Well, obviously that has NOT been successfully done. They CANNOT send a raging child home from a psychiatric hospital, that is just absurd. Are they :lame ??? Do go see the social worker ASAP and INSIST that the doctor contact the insurance company to have her stay extended. Don't let them tell you it is not possible!!! Regarding the Zoloft: when Em was last taken off it, was she also on the Risperdal and other meds she's currently on? I agree that she needs to be observed while OFF the Zoloft, which seems to be the logical culprit. Try to keep your chin up. We're all here for you. :loveyaballoon
