They are probably tired of dealing with the rages, LOL. No, I don't know really, but I think maybe the doctor should call the insurance company and request an extended stay as the patient is clearly not stable or "well". Perhaps the hospital social worker can help faciliate this request. It would be better to contact insurance representative before they make a "determination" on their own.

Next thing you know, they will be releasing heart attack victims before they are stable. How annoying.
