I cannot believe that the doctor or at least a nurse didn't call you back. I am completely furious for you! My daughter had the same problem with Zyprexa, but everytime we gave it to her she'd get really lethargic, sleepy, slur her speech, and she wanted to sleep 12-14 hours a day. Not much of a life for a now 7 year old. We haven't had any trouble with the Seroquel. I actually really like it. I have been blessed with a wonderful pediatrician who is very experienced with bp in kids. We have been with her since Madison was born and I'd die without her. She's my rock, I can call her night or day and she's ALWAYS there for me. We've taken her to psychiatrist and psychologists and none have ever done more for than her pediatrician. She's happy and comfortable with her, so I have no desire to take her anywhere else. I've been told by many how lucky I am to have a doc who knows the child and about the disease. And get this, she actually listens to what I think and is 9 times out of 10 willing to give my ideas a chance. If she doesn't agree, she tells me why. Amazing, huh? So I really feel for you with this whole doctor thing, I would be a mess. I hope that you find a good doctor, someone who will give you exactly what you need. Goodluck!
