Rex, I think some children really benefit from stim medication - if they need it. I just wish the doctors would do thorough screening and share EVERYTHING with the parents, ya know? I know I harp on this issue and I don't mean to. I just think the doctors do not give the parents the full information, nor do they try to rule stuff out before...

goldenfur - that sounds like a great question for the doc. I'm not sure... the same thing happened with my son. The thing with Taylor is I know the dx is correct because here we are three years later and he's so much better on the meds he's on.
