I agree with Sally and feel she said it all. Your son is in a controlled environment under the care of highly trained professionals. You need to feel you can trust them for your own peace of mind.

I was a patient representative at a large hospital for many years. I noticed that the people who didn't trust their doctors or their loved ones doctors were always much more stressed and anxious than those who did. I always advised people to get another doctor if they didn't trust the one they had.

It didn't matter if their concerns were justified or not. It was the feeling of anxiety and insecurity that the lack of trust caused.

Is there a good reason for your concern about the doctors? I would think a psychiatrist in a mental health facility would know about Lithium toxicity and the dosing levels. It's all pretty basic.

But still you should express your concerns about Lithium toxicity for your own peace of mind.

As Sally said, your son is in a controlled environment where he is being monitored constantly.

When is your baby due again? Do you know what you are having? We are all excited for you.
