Ahhh Ginny you just reminded me that is what the pdoc said to me.
Did he seem drunk? I said yes, totally she said that is the tell tale signs of toxicity! Aha! She is also the one that told me that it didn't matter that one of his levels came back low but his phsyical symptoms meant he was going into toxic levels throughout the day!

Anyhow, back to Jesse, I'm not sure about the safe levels of Lithium. It does sound high to me but I'm so not a doc. I sure hope they are doing blood draws, they are so important to see what his body is doing with the lithium.

I know you are sad that he is there but honestly he is in good hands, although you are worried that they are upping his lithium too high, they are doing it in a controlled environment where he has 24 hour nursing care. They would never ask you to do that at home as you would need to be watching him constantly.

Take heart, I know exactly how you feel and it isn't nice. I hope and pray they find something for him. You need to rest sweetie, try to take some time for you, a bath even. or a sit outside when all the kids are asleep, anything just to clear your mind and find some peace for a few mins.
