I think your dh is being like most fathers and as someone already said they know how young men think cause they once were one. I think his feelings are natural.
As far as the "D" she may very well be telling the truth about the make up quizzes not showing up on this grade. I would give her the benefit of the doubt right now till the final comes in. It is wonderful that you have teachers as neighboirs that will help her. What a great perk.
The bedroom thing in this house is you can only be in there with the door open. We have a ranch style home so all I have to do is walk down the hall occassionally to keep things in check. You are not being old fashioned in my opinion either. Dating...... nerve racking as heck isn't it.
