My Sister's Keeper: The movie |

Ok I saw the movie last night. It's been a LONG time since I read the book. The movie was graphic with the vomiting and how ill Kate looked. Jesse was kind
of lost in the movie. It showed a couple times he was on his own, but I didn't really think it showed why. One scene was kind of like he was lost and
looking for someone or going to the hospital. You really didn't understand till he showed up at home and hoped he didn't get caught coming in. Sara is
in denial BIG TIME!! The movie revolved around Anna. In the end, they are all camping in Montana as a way to remember Kate. I cried through parts. My dd cried
through the whole thing. I liked it, but I think some parts were different than the book.

I really want to see this. I hated the book, absolutely hated it, but want to see the movie. How was the casting? Did the characters fit their parts?

I haven't seen it yet, but I did hear that our local Leukemia/Lymphoma Society had a table with information and volunteers out at the theater for all the
awareness and education available. Hope to see the movie late next week.

I think that is interesting the local Leukemia/Lymphoma Society has that. I know when A Brilliant Mind was out, we went to see it as a group for our
class on schizophrenia.

The actors were great! They are talking acadamy award for Cameron Diaz, but I also think the one with Lukemia should get one, and the movie itself. While
watching it I couldn't help but think, "at least Luke isn't going through this", then realized he is probably just as bad, just in another
way. I didn't read the book, so I can't compare.

I can't get anyone to go see it with me, so I guess I'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD.
